We are excited to announce the release of Torrent Pro Version 11 (Beta), delivering major enhancements, critical bug fixes, and powerful new features designed to elevate your torrenting experience.
🔑 Major Highlights
- App Language Selection: Implemented In-App Language Selection Under Settings Page (Android-13 & Above)
- Latest API Support – Fully optimized for Android 17 (Cinnamon Bun) with API‑37.
- Search Torrents Option – Added to the main page, enabling quick search of local torrents.
- Manual Default Trackers URL Entry – New option in the Default Trackers page allowing users to manually enter the URL from which default trackers are pulled.
- Advanced Tuning – Introduced under Settings > Advanced Setting, containing:
- 5G Network & Socket Tuning
- Storage & I/O Strategy
- Memory & LMK Protection Designed to optimize performance under high‑bandwidth conditions.
⚙️ Major Improvements
- Local Peers/Seeders Discovery – Transitioned from Beta to Stable. (Settings > Advanced > Network > Local Peers/Seeds Discovery)
- Updated backend RemoteConfiguration app update logic.
- Refreshed all libraries to the latest compatible versions.
🛠️ Major Fixes
- Fixed issue with app not shutting down properly.
- Fix for SSRF (CWE-918) in torrent/feed URL.
