So, to download the whole file, you need to divide 500 by 12.5, which gives you 40 seconds. However, if your internet speed is 100 MB/s, that means you can download 100 MB of data per second. So, to download the same file, you only need to divide 500 by 100, which gives you 5 seconds.

As you can see, there is a big difference between Mbps and MB/s when it comes to internet speed. The higher the number, the faster the speed. However, you need to make sure you are using the right unit for the right purpose. Otherwise, you might end up with inaccurate results or expectations.
